VX1000 Measurement and Calibration Hardware

Functions:

  • DAQ event triggering by a single memory write access
  • Minor modification of ECU code for measurement data acquisition
  • Minimal influence on ECU execution times
  • Option for generating time stamps in ECU
  • Write access to ECU parameters or memory ranges without address range limitations
  • Very short stimulation respectively bypassing latency times
  • Flash programming of "brain dead" ECUs
  • 100 Mbit/sec Ethernet connection to PC
  • PC tool for configuration and software updates
  • 4 High-Speed CAN channels (VX1121) with LEMO connectors

Modular Concept:

The VX1000 system consists of the following modules:

  • VX11xx - Base device
  • VX12xx - ECU interface as plug-in to basic device
  • VX13xx - Cable
  • VX14xx / VX15xx - Microcontroller POD ( Plug on Device)

When used in the engine compartment, a POD is either tightly coupled to the ECU housing or even resides within. The POD is then connected to the VX11xx basic device with an integrated ECU interface using a cable of up to 5 m in length.
POD and cable are designed for the tough automotive environment. They resist high temperatures and have watertight connectors. The POD can be mechanically and electrically adapted to the ECU based on your requirements.
For applications in the laboratory or in the vehicle’s interior the VX11xx basic device with the integrated VX1220 LVDS ECU interface is connected via a max. 0.5 m long LVDS cable to the POD.
