On the supplier side comprehensive tests accompany a development and numerous regression and release tests are required. The automotive OEM also needs tests for integration and release. The CANoe Option DiVa was designed for use in the following areas at vehicle OEMs and suppliers:
- Functional development and software development
- Test laboratories and vehicle integration
On the supplier side the CANoe Option DiVa supports the diagnostic
implementation of the ECU. The developer tests already during
his/her ongoing development and perform finally a full range of
regression tests. These regression tests can also be utilized as part
of a release procedure for the diagnostic portion of an ECU.
The automotive OEM uses the DiVa Option in automated incoming
goods testing when an ECU sample is submitted. Integration tests
on a development test bench or in the vehicle are also supported.
The OEM can use the CANoe Option DiVa to easy create test specifications based on quality requirements or to generate test documentation.
OEMs and suppliers can expand the scope of test by adding new
test patterns or tailor existing test patterns for their special needs.
