2008-05-08: DaVinci Network Designer FlexRay 2.0 SP3

Download

With Service Pack 3 (Update to 2.0 Build 52), the following changes become effective:

  • A new FlexRay cluster can be created by importing a DBC file. With this function a FlexRay cluster can be created based on an existing CAN communication matrix. The function is available in the context menu of the vehicle the new FlexRay cluster will be created for.
  • Minor improvements:
    • No error occurs while executing function "Edit..." out of the context menu of an entry in the list of consistency checks.
    • The minimum and maximum values of signals are now stored with a precision of 15 decimal digits. Up to version 2.0 SP2 these values have been stored with a precision of 6 decimal digits.
    • Changing the static payload length of a FlexRay cluster doesn’t changes the length of the frames any more.
    • Because of internal calculation imprecision a message has been generated in the consistency check in some cases for the value of assumed precision of a FlexRay cluster although the entered value was correct.
    • The application doesn't crash any more when a frame in the dynamic segment of the schedule designer is double-clicked.
    • In version 2.0 SP2 an error occurred when an XML file that isn’t a file in FIBEX format was imported. XML files that are no FIBEX files are now rejected with an error message.
