2007-12-03: CANape 6.5 SP2

With Service Pack 2, the following changes become effective (all changes of SP1 are contained):

General:

  • The installation does install a virtual CAN bus if no CAN driver is available on the system. Existing CAN driver < version 5.2.62 is updated
  • Optimized update of the Symbol Explorer during import of a database
  • Store column witdth for signal name in parameter explorer
  • The 'video stream' properties dialog of a multimedia object displays the current values instead of the default values
  • Additional panel ActiveX controls are installed
  • Even a configuration contains missing parameters, all other parameter values are shown at project startup

Functions and Scripts:

  • Problem of the script compiler is fixed if signals with modifiers are used without a device name

Communication Protocols:

  • By default measurement of CAN Remoteframes is disabled now
  • Fixed CALRAM upload issue when LOAD_GRANULARITY was not a multiple of 4
  • Fixed issue with prohibited XCP STIM in conjunction with static DAQ lists
  • Fixed XCP issue when MAX_DTO exceeded 255 bytes

MATLAB/Simulink Support:

  • The new MATLAB/CANape Integration Package does support MATLAB R2007b and the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition. Furthermore,  the exported EMF file names are calculated and also stored in the model description file

Data Management:

  • Correction in working with the limit violation option in CDM Studio to support this also if a parameter is modified
  • Improvement in numeric detail window to handle the selection correctlly
  • Correction in CDF20 reader to support whitespaces
  • Correction in writing DCM files. Type ASCII must not include EINHEIT_W
  • Correction in working with the limit violation option in CDM Studio to support this also for the current device
  • Correction in working with the limit violation option in CDM Studio to support this also for the clipoard
  • Correctionin the delete operation  to support work with selector objects in CDM Studio

Offline analysis measurement files:

  • A text file with signal names can specify the exported signals and the sort order for the ASCII export converter
  • ASCII export converter writes the correct hour value in case of absolute time/date
  • The index of generated array element signal names in MDF files may have up to 4 leading zeros now
  • New main menu command to replace a loaded measurement file
  • MATLAB export converter for MDF files with option "Time Grid" starts the time grid at the first signal value now

Diagnostics:

  • Support of CANdela(-Studio) Format 5.5

Map Reader:

  • Support of ELF map files from Diab Data Compiler V5
