With Service Pack 3, the following changes become effective (SP1 and SP2 are contained):
Extended measurement data acquisition:
- Issue fixed which occurred during replay of CAN messages if the BLF file contains an Application Text object.
Communication protocol:
- Fixed A2L issue which affected import of DAQ lists.
- CCP: Completed support of offline datalogger configuration.
- Improved time synchronization of FlexRay signals from BusDoctorII.
- Support of SAE J2602 protocol (LIN variant).
Offline analysis of measurement files:
- Issue fixed which occurred during calculation of the sample reduction.
- Issue fixed if multiple displays of the same file signal are deleted from a display window.
- Issue fixed if a ZIP file is selected in the project selection dialog during startup of the application.
- Issue fixed concerning display of raw values (decimal) from a file signal with rational conversion rule.
- Logging file import converter supports LIN messages from XLG and XLX files using format V2.
Database:
- Map file entry search dialog displays all array entries from multiple map files even if address extension is added to the names.
- Issue fixed that may result into wrong address of bit slice characteristics if the base datatype is WORD or DWORD and an alignment of 2 or greater is defined.
- Project option added to disable the address alignment of scalar characteristics (Compatibility mode for CANape 6.x)
- Show warning messages after loading A2L files or updating of addresses in case of an alignment mismatch of characteristics.
- Issue fixed in the ASAP2 Editor if a database contains a variable with verbal conversion rule and physical unit and this database is saved as version 1.5
- MAP file format of Fujitsu Softune V60L06 compiler is supported.
- Show warning messages during saving of an A2L file if identifiers are changed to make them specification conform.
- Support of A2L identifiers beginning with digits. Such identifiers are not compliant to the "ASAM MCD 2MC / ASAP2" specification. Due to this, such identifiers will be adjusted during a write operation (an underscore is added as prefix).
Calibration data management (Parameter sets & CDM Studio):
- Improved ASAP2/Simulink object export to support accurate import into MATLAB.
- Calibration objects will be reinitialized if a change of the current variant is detected during a connect.
- Undo/Redo supports the "delete parameter" action in order to prevent the creation of corrupt parameter set files.
- Improved the calibration history such that empty calibration history files are handled correctly.
- Correct creation of label lists containing variant information in the CDM-Studio preprocess dialog.
- Improved the generation of the parameter set that represents the current device in the CDM-Studio.
- Improved the performance of the "parameter explorer", e.g. speed-up of navigation.
- Added a new option to the "m"-file writer in order to improve the handling of parameters which refer to a verbal conversion table, so that it is possible to write the numerical value of such parameters even if the representation mode is set to physical.
- Recognize modification if a parameter is deleted from the parameter set in CDM-Studio.
- Issue fixed that occured when multiple MAP/CURVE parameters were selected in the CDM-Studio and the numerical detail window was visible.
