German: www.vector-informatik.com/canboard_pxi/de/ English: www.vector-informatik.com/canboard_pxi/en/ ************************************************************** 1.3 FlexCard - A powerful and innovative PC Card for FlexRay networks Effective as of May 2004 Vector will offer FlexCard, a new high performance hardware in a PC-card package. Paired with CANoe 5.0 the FlexCard is extremely well-suited for simulating, analyzing, and testing FlexRay systems. German: www.vector-informatik.com/flexcard/de/ English: www.vector-informatik.com/flexcard/en/ ************************************************************** 1.4 GM Recommends CANdesc to Suppliers Following a successful evaluation of the Vector CANdesc diagnostic embedded software component, GM is now recommending CANdesc to their ECU suppliers for the implementation of diagnostics in GM ECUs. While Opel has been recommending CANdesc to its suppliers for nearly a year, this new recommendation extends to cover all GM organizations and suppliers worldwide. CANdesc fully automates the implementation of many common ECU diagnostic functions and provides a framework to assist the ECU developer where complete automation is not possible. The GM version of CANdesc is an optional add-on to the Vector GMLAN handler software package. The CANdesc source code is generated from a diagnostic description file produced by the Vector CANdelaStudio diagnostic data management tool. For detailed information please contact: mailto:sales@vector-cantech.com ************************************************************** 1.5 CANoe.MOST V5.0 - Comprehensive simulation and testing of ECUs in the MOST ring The new CANoe.MOST 5.0 supports analysis, simulation, and testing of MOST networks to an extent previously unknown. For example it is now possible to create simulations of individual function blocks or even an entire MOST system more easily and significantly faster. Expanded testing capabilities for MOST include sequential test scripts and individual component tests in which CANoe.MOST acts as the network master. The operating system is also available for a large number of other processors and compiler vendors. Other micros may be supported on demand. German: www.can-bus.com/osek/de/oscan_availability.php English: www.can-bus.com/osek/en/oscan_availability.php ************************************************************** 1.7 DeviceNet Slave Source Code 4.0 released The major features of the new version 4.0 include the support of Offline Connection Set, Heartbeat Protocol and Shutdown Message. There have been many more detailed enhancements as well. German: www.vector-informatik.com/deutsch/produkte/devicenet_slavesc.php English: www.vector-informatik.com/english/products/devicenet_slavesc.php ************************************************************** 1.8 CANbedded CAN driver supports Infineon XC16x family The Infineon XC16x processor family is now supported. The CAN Driver is available for use with Keil and Tasking compilers. The software components are also available for a large number of processors and compiler vendors. Other micros may be supported on demand. German: www.canbedded.de English: www.canbedded.com ************************************************************** 1.9 CANgraph 5.0 German released The new version 5.0 of CANgraph has been released. The tool for the graphical offline evaluation of CANalyzer/CANoe LOG files or CANape measurement data has been improved in various fields. The release of the english version is scheduled for the mid of March 2004.
